Our Appointments are all available to be booked on the day for all our Doctors, Clinical Pharmacists, Physicians Associates, (PAs) and Paramedics. These are made available to patients using the above contact us link, to complete the Patient Triage Monday to Friday from 7.00am.
Appointments with the Healthcare Assistants, Nurse Associates, Trainee Nurse Associates Practice Nurses and Sexual Health Nurse are advance bookable up to 16 weeks ahead, these appointments are also booked over the phone or at our reception desks, or during consultation with all our Healthcare Assistants and Nursing Team.
Gardenia and Marsh Farm Practice does offer online appointments for targeted areas of work such as the Annual Flu Vaccination Programme, Blood Pressure Checks and his service has been limited as it caused significant administrations issues as often patients book with the incorrect clinician for the appointment such as Blood Pressure Checks are performed by our Healthcare Assistants and patients tends book with the Practice Nurse causing appointment times with the practices to be longer than necessary but the practice is reviewing the way it works to enable online appointment booking for the nursing team.

Cancel an Appointment
Gardenia and Marsh Farm Practice is always grateful when patients cancel appointments as we will always try to offer it to another patient.
Patients are able to cancel appointments by using SystmOnline, via mobile phone or using a desktop computer, up to 3 hours before the appointment or by using the following link on our website: https://www.gardeniasurgery.nhs.uk/cancel-an-appointment/. Patients are also able to telephone at any time the Gardenia and Marsh Farm Practice is open.
Home Visits
All visit requests will be reviewed by the doctor on the day.
We will visit appropriate housebound patients, however we would ask that if you are able to leave your home please make every effort to come to the surgery.
Please also not that lack of transport does not entitle you to a home visit. There are more facilities in the surgery and a better assessment can be made.
If you feel a house call may be medically necessary requests should be made before 11.00am either by telephone or calling at the surgery.
